Music and Song

MUSIC EXPERIENCE

Piano lessons came first, at the age of eight.

Then I got an accoustic guitar aged 10 and taught myself how to play.

Drum lessons began at the age of 16 when I'd shown an aptitude as part of a band,

I've always written lyrics and sung along to my guitar.

Voice lessons came as part of acting training but it wasn't until 2015 I dedicated myself to weekly lessons in singing and began to master the art properly.

Here follows a history of my musical experience and achievements.

ALLEY CAT CLUB -

Sang at this famous London Club at an event there,

Black Velvet, Sea Of Heartbreak and Maybe I Know

PLAY - A DOLL'S HOUSE

A musical version from the Dale Teater Kompani. As Kristina Linde I sang many

Christmas songs.

This prduction was chosen to be in the bi-annual Ibsen Festival held in Norway.

TREE OF HOPE CHARITY

Two years running, I was MC for the two day variety event and sang diverse

standards accapella from, After The Gold Rush to Secret Love

SHE'S MINE

I feature on this, former Squeeze member Harri Kakooli's single

PLAY - DEE'S DELIGHTS

A one woman show I wrote and toured for over a year acting and singing

1940's and 50's war songs and popular musical numbers.

PLAY - CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE

Played Grushia in Brecht's play and sang a variety of songs as her character

THE CARGO

I wrote this song especially for a production of the play Female Transport

and sang verses between scenes of the play

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

This was one song, I wrote and sang on a tape of five, that was broadcast on

an ITV series called 'The Time And The Place'

THE FEDERATION

I was a backing vocalist for this band for live gigs.

SISTER SEAGULL

Drummer and occassional singer for this Manchester band. Starting out with

a tupperware box full of gravel to becoming the owner of my own accoustic

kit and studying drumming with Geoff Riley, teacher and author of 'Match Sticks'

and 'Time Please' drumming tutor books.
